  • The images on this page highlight a selection of our community development initiatives. One of our flagship programmes, the Inner Policeman Initiative, is a community‑focused awareness campaign that reinforces the critical importance of early childhood intervention. The initiative explores the long‑term impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and promotes prevention through meaningful engagement with families, community groups, and key stakeholders.

Through seminars, parent‑focused presentations, and collaborative outreach activities, the programme equips caregivers and community leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to support children’s wellbeing, strengthen protective factors, and intervene early when risks are identified. This approach reflects our commitment to building safer, healthier, and more resilient communities.

During one of her community outreach activities, including the unveiling of a new awareness billboard, Dr Genevieve P. I. Ohaeresaba donated a free wheelchair to a randomly selected man with cerebral palsy who had been forced to mobilise by rolling on the ground due to lack of access to mobility aids. The wheelchair was formally handed over by Justice K. N. Ude of the Enugu State High Court, who used the occasion to urge political leaders to adopt inclusive policies that support and enhance the wellbeing of vulnerable citizens across Nigeria.

During the event, Dr Genevieve also shared awareness‑raising literature with members of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) who attended the occasion.
